Understanding Rate Details on WISHNET

In the following article you can find the necessary information on the Rate Details

  • Configured Rate: This is the agreed rate specified in the Guest Details section, representing the rate the guest will pay. The final rate is calculated after the guest checks in.

  • Rate Blend: This option allows you to adjust the rate during the guest's stay. For example, if a guest is staying from October 1, 2010, to December 31, 2010, with a current rate of RACK at 12,000 + taxes, you can change their rate to 11,000 + taxes starting December 15, 2010. You can specify the start date, rate code, and room rate in this section. To add another rate change, press the ↓ key on your keyboard.

  • Sharer Split: This section displays information about sharers in the room, including their names, arrival and departure dates, PAX count (adults, youth, and children), and the room rate each sharer will pay.

  • Autopost Charges: Autopost charges allow certain fees to be automatically applied to each reservation during the Night Audit process, alongside room and tax charges. Common examples include extra beds and parking charges. To add autopost charges to a guest reservation, follow these steps:

    • Click on the Charge Code field, then click    button to populate the list of charge codes. Select the appropriate charge code.
    • Enter the amount and currency for the charge.
    • If the charge should be posted daily, check the "Daily" checkbox.
    • If the charge should be posted per PAX, check the "Per PAX" checkbox. Leave this unchecked if the posting should be done per room.
    • Close the tab and click “Save Modification” or press Alt+M in the Guest Details form to save.
    • Click “OK” to complete the process.
  • Plan: If the room rate does not include a meal plan, the system will automatically add the plan component to the room charges during posting, posting this amount to F&B Revenue.
