Date-Time Range Setup

How to create Date Time based Menu/Discount setup

Touche has the facility to set Date Time Ranges to Menus, Discounts or more, where the function button visibility can be restricted to that range. This follows a setup where a single master Date Time Range is created, under which different range definitions can be linked, favoring different time periods or days as required.

Prerequisites:

  • WebTouche Link

  • Administrative Configurations Login

  • Configurations Access to Categories->Range Category, Time Slots, Range Definition, Range Groups for creating Date-Time Range

  • Menu, Item or Outlet link access to set Date-Time Range

 

1. In Configurations go to Categories, click the + sign and select Range Category under which a Date Time Range Master can be created. This is the name that will be visible against the menus and discounts for which you are looking to link a time range for. Once done, select Save.

2. If a specific time/hour range is considered for this, go to Time Slots, have the time created and select Save.

Note: This step can be ignored if it is for full day.

3. Go to Range Definition to create the Time-Day Range setup for the Date Time Range Master. The Date Range, Time Period and Days for the range to be active can be set here. Once done, select Save.

Note: Time Slot can be ignored if it is for full day.

4. Go to Range Groups, click the + sign and select the required Date Time Range Master to link the Time-Day Range setup with each other and select Save.

Now the Date Time Range can be linked as below under:

Discounts (Discount Master),

Sub menus (Menu-Head Menu Link), Menu Heads (Outlet Menu-Head Link)

and more.
