How to Add/ Adjust the Opening Balance of Employees?

To adjust the Opening Balance of Leave and Air Ticket in Employee Information screen

Opening Balances are for current employees, and is only entered at the time of installing PayTRAX. For the New Joiners, Leave and Ticket will be accrued from their Joining Date.

Menu:- Personal --> Employee Information screen --> Opening Balance.

This screen enables the user to enter the Opening Balance of Annual Leave, Public Holiday Compensatory Leave, Weekly OFF Compensatory Leave and Air Ticket.

Follow the below steps to add/ modify the Opening Balance.

  • Click on Add Row
  • Select the Balance Type, Balance As on Date & enter the value in Balance Field, and Save.
  • To adjust the existing Balance, add a new Row and enter the Positive value to increase the Balance, and enter the Negative value to decrease the Balance.
