Extra Hours and Overtime Calculation in Web PayTRAX

How can we consume the Extra Hours/ pay the Extra hours in WebPayTRAX?

If an employee accumulates Extra Hours, these can be applied as leave.

Approve the Extra Hours by selecting the ‘Extra hours’ option in the Verify Working Hours screen, and post it from the Attendance à Post to Payroll screen.

Once the extra hour is accumulated, the employee can apply it as Extra Hours Leave from the ‘Other leave application’ screen.  As per the current setup, 9 hours of extra work will be equivalent to 1 day of leave.

Overtime Payment: If the employee is to be paid for the extra hours instead of using them as leave:

Approve the Overtime by selecting the Overtime option in the Verify Working Hours screen, and post it from the Attendance -> Post to Payroll, then the system will automatically calculate the overtime amount, and it will be paid out as part of the employee’s salary.
