Creating Domicile in WISHNET

This article can be used as a guide while creating the Domicile. Please note the user should have access to System System. Please contact the IT if the function is not in the user template.

 

A domicile is:


  • The place where you maintain a permanent home.
  • Used for legal or tax purposes.
  • Your true, principal, and permanent home.
  • The location you intend to return to even if currently residing elsewhere.
  • Defined for purposes of judicial jurisdiction and governmental burdens and benefits. 

To create a domicile, please follow the below steps,

 

  • Goto System Setup => Parameter Setup

  • Under MIS Code Setup, you will find Domicile Setup where you can create the domicile by giving the following information:

  1. Domicile Code: A short code of two characters to recognize the Domicile
  2. Description Print Line Number: It is used to setup printing sequence.
  3. Main head: Used to categorize the Domicile
  4. Country: The country in which the domicile falls in
  5. Nationality: The people called of specific nationality. For example, people from India are called Indians. Therefore there nationality is India.
  6. ISO Code:ISO 3166-1, is part of the ISO 3166 standard. It gives a code for the names of countries and dependent territories, and is published by the International Organization for Standardization.
